Description
A refreshing, protein-packed treat made with simple ingredients—peanut butter, banana, yogurt, maple syrup, and an optional chocolate dip. These popsicles are creamy, nutritious, and perfect for a hot day.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups unsweetened plain yogurt
½ cup creamy peanut butter
2 large ripe bananas
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 cup magic chocolate shell or chocolate syrup (optional, for dipping)
Crushed peanuts (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Blend the yogurt, peanut butter, bananas, and maple syrup in a blender until smooth, about 90 seconds.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling almost to the top and leaving a little space for expansion. Insert the sticks and freeze the molds for at least 24 hours.
- If using chocolate, pour the magic shell into a tall glass. Once the popsicles are frozen, remove them from the molds (running warm water over the outside helps) and dip them into the chocolate. Let the excess drip off and sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.
- Place the dipped popsicles on a baking sheet and freeze for another 20 minutes to set.
Notes
- For dog-friendly popsicles, skip the chocolate and peanuts.
- Use Greek yogurt for more protein and a firmer texture.
- Maple syrup can be swapped with honey or agave for different sweetness.
- Try adding cocoa powder or berries for a fun twist.
- Almond or sunflower seed butter works well for allergy-friendly versions.
