Description
This baked Brie with Jezebel peaches is a rich and elegant appetizer featuring warm, gooey Brie topped with a sweet and spicy peach mixture. It’s easy to prepare and makes a stunning addition to any gathering.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon hot jalapeño pepper jelly
1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 large ripe peach, peeled and diced
1 Brie round (about 13–13.2 oz.), ideally in a wooden box
Assorted crackers or baguette slices for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- In a bowl, mix together the jalapeño pepper jelly, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add the diced peach and stir to coat well.
- Unwrap the Brie and optionally trim off the top rind. Place the Brie back into its wooden box or use a small baking dish.
- Bake the Brie for about 10 minutes until it starts to soften.
- Spoon the peach-jelly mixture over the Brie and return it to the oven for another 5 minutes until fully melted and bubbly.
- Transfer the Brie to a serving platter and serve with crackers or baguette slices.
Notes
- Peaches can be substituted with nectarines, apricots, or plums.
- If no wooden box is available, use a small pie plate or baking dish.
- Top with chopped, toasted pecans for added texture and flavor.
