Description

Baklava Muffins combine the rich, nutty flavors of the classic Greek pastry with the convenience of a muffin. With honey, nuts, and a blend of warm spices, these muffins are perfect for brunch, afternoon snacks, or any sweet occasion. A modern twist on traditional baklava!

Ingredients

For the Muffins:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup honey

¼ cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup finely chopped walnuts

¼ cup finely chopped pistachios

¼ cup finely chopped almonds

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground cloves

For Drizzling:

¼ cup honey (for drizzling after baking)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined (do not overmix).

In a small bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, pistachios, almonds, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves.

Gently fold the nut mixture into the muffin batter.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and let cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes.

Transfer muffins to a wire rack and drizzle each muffin with honey while still warm.

Serve and enjoy these deliciously nutty and sweet muffins!

Notes

These Baklava Muffins offer the perfect balance of nuts, honey, and warm spices. They’re ideal for brunch, afternoon tea, or a sweet snack.

To keep them extra moist, drizzle the honey on the muffins while they’re still warm.
