Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook it until golden and cooked through, about 6 to 7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes to warm through.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
