Description

A creamy and savory cheesy bowtie pasta dish combining tender ground beef, garlic butter sauce, and a blend of cheddar and Parmesan cheeses. Ready in just 30 minutes, this comforting recipe is perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta

Beef and Seasoning

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth

Cheese and Garnish

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart, until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Season the beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine evenly.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Add the butter to the skillet with the cooked beef. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add Broth and Simmer: Pour the beef broth into the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 3 to 4 minutes until the liquid slightly reduces and thickens.
  5. Combine Pasta and Cheese: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and stir continuously until the cheese melts and creates a creamy texture.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy your cheesy bowtie pasta.

Notes

  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor in the garlic butter sauce.
  • To make this recipe vegetarian, substitute ground beef with plant-based meat alternatives or mushrooms.
  • For a richer flavor, you can use a blend of mozzarella and cheddar in place of cheddar alone.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, simmer the beef broth a bit longer before adding pasta.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for added nutrition and color.
