Description

Golden, Crispy Baked Broccoli Tots with Cheddar, Parmesan, and Savory Seasoning


Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets, steamed and chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

1 egg, beaten

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil


Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Steam broccoli florets for 3–5 minutes until tender and bright green. Drain and finely chop.

In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined and dough-like.

Shape mixture into small tots (about 1.5 inches long) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Lightly spray tops with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.

Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy, turning once halfway through for even browning.

Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dip.
