Ingredients
Chicken
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast (approx 1/2 to 3/4 pound)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Flatbreads
- 1 package Stonefire Naan Flatbreads (2 flatbreads per package)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Salad
- 1 (10.8 oz) bag Dole Chopped Caesar Salad Kit
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a small skillet or Blackstone griddle over medium heat and add 1/2 tablespoon olive oil. Season the chicken breast with kosher salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then dice into bite-size pieces.
- Prepare Garlic Oil and Naan: In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this garlic oil evenly over the naan flatbreads to infuse them with flavor.
- Assemble Flatbreads: Place the garlic-brushed naan flatbreads on a lined baking sheet. Distribute the diced chicken evenly over each flatbread and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake the Flatbreads: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Bake the assembled flatbreads for 10 to 12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of naan are slightly crisp.
- Prepare Caesar Salad: While the flatbreads are baking, prepare the Caesar salad kit according to the package instructions, typically involving tossing the chopped greens with dressing and toppings.
- Serve: Allow the flatbreads to cool slightly, then top them with some of the prepared Caesar salad. Serve any remaining salad on the side for a refreshing complement to the warm flatbread.
Notes
- Use freshly cooked chicken for best flavor and texture.
- You can substitute mozzarella with Parmesan or a blend of Italian cheeses for a sharper taste.
- If unavailable, any store-bought naan flatbread can be used as a base.
- Adjust crushed red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
- To make the dish meatless, omit the chicken and add more salad or roasted vegetables.
- Baking time may vary slightly depending on your oven; watch for melted and bubbly cheese as an indicator.
