Description

This smoky and creamy Chipotle Aioli is a quick and flavorful sauce perfect for adding a spicy kick to sandwiches, dips, or grilled vegetables. Made with simple ingredients like mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and chipotle powder or adobo sauce, it comes together in just minutes.

Ingredients

Chipotle Aioli Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (56g) mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle powder (or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients. In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, pressed garlic, lemon juice, chipotle powder or adobo sauce, salt, and pepper until well blended and smooth.
  2. Adjust Seasoning. Taste the aioli and add additional chipotle powder or adobo sauce to increase the heat if desired. Adjust salt and pepper to your preference.
  3. Serve. Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy as a dip, spread, or sauce to complement your dishes.

Notes

  • For a spicier aioli, increase the chipotle powder or adobo sauce gradually while tasting.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, start with less chipotle powder and add more as needed.
  • This aioli can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • Pressing the garlic helps release more flavor and prevents a harsh bite.
