Description

These Cinnamon Roll Blondies are the perfect combination of soft, gooey blondies with the warm, comforting flavors of cinnamon and brown sugar. Topped with a sweet glaze, these blondies make an irresistible dessert for any occasion. Whether enjoyed fresh out of the oven or at room temperature, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

For the Blondies:

1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)

1 cup light brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp milk

Instructions

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

Prepare the Blondie Batter:
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter with the brown and granulated sugars until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.

Mix Dry Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.

Combine the Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Assemble the Blondies:
Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Top with the remaining batter and swirl gently using a knife to create a marble effect.

Bake the Blondies:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Glaze and Serve:
Once the blondies have cooled completely, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the blondies and serve!

Notes

For an extra cinnamon swirl, sprinkle additional cinnamon and sugar between the layers of batter before baking.

These blondies are great fresh out of the oven but also store well at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.

You can freeze the blondies (without the glaze) for up to 3 months—simply reheat them when ready to serve.
