Ingredients
Seafood and Cheese Mixture
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Lasagna and Sauce
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
Toppings
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the noodles and set aside.
- Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cooked shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, half of the Alfredo sauce, and minced garlic. Season generously with salt and pepper, then stir until everything is well combined.
- Assemble the roll-ups: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Lay out each lasagna noodle flat, spread the seafood and cheese mixture evenly over each noodle, then carefully roll them up. Place each roll seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Add sauce and cheese toppings: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the assembled roll-ups. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the top.
- Bake the roll-ups: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with foil and bake the roll-ups for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- Garnish and serve: Allow the roll-ups to cool slightly before garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve warm and enjoy your creamy, seafood-infused lasagna roll-ups.
Notes
- You can substitute shrimp with additional crab or lobster for a different seafood variation.
- If you prefer a spicier dish, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the filling.
- Use fresh parsley or basil for garnish to enhance flavor and presentation.
- For easier rolling, slightly cool the noodles before spreading the filling.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat gently to prevent drying out.
