Description

Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Cheesy Twisted Pasta is a rich and flavorful dish featuring golden-brown chicken on a bed of garlicky, cheesy pasta. The creamy garlic parmesan sauce makes every bite indulgent and satisfying.

Ingredients

Chicken Breasts

Rotini Pasta

Garlic

Parmesan Cheese

Heavy Cream

Butter

Olive Oil

Italian Seasoning

Salt and Pepper

Fresh Parsley (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim and pat dry the chicken breasts. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes per side until golden-brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and let rest.
  3. Boil the rotini pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and toss with butter to prevent sticking.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Slice the rested chicken into strips. Toss the cooked rotini in the creamy garlic parmesan sauce until well-coated.
  7. Plate the pasta, top with sliced chicken, drizzle with extra sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley and more parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, sprinkle in red pepper flakes while making the garlic sauce.
  • Vegetarians can substitute the chicken with sautéed vegetables like mushrooms, spinach, or zucchini.
  • This dish can be made ahead by preparing the chicken and pasta separately, then combining them with the sauce when ready to serve.
