Description

A delicious twist on the classic cheeseburger, these rollups feature seasoned ground beef and melted cheese wrapped in garlic-butter-brushed tortillas for a warm, crispy, and satisfying snack or meal.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 large flour tortillas

¼ cup butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional: sliced pickles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 7–8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat to cool slightly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic to make garlic butter.
  5. Lay tortillas flat. Divide beef mixture evenly among them. Top each with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Roll each tortilla tightly, tucking in sides. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  7. Brush tops generously with garlic butter and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Cool slightly before serving. Slice into pinwheels if desired and garnish with sliced pickles.

Notes

  • Swap flour tortillas with whole wheat or spinach tortillas for variation.
  • Add diced onions or mushrooms to the beef for extra flavor.
  • Spread mustard or ketchup on tortillas before beef for added taste.
  • Try different cheeses like pepper jack or Swiss for a new twist.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes into garlic butter for a spicy kick.
