These homemade brownie bites are quick and easy, with a fudgy interior and a crinkled top. Perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Ghirardelli)
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter in a medium pot over low heat.
- Once melted, whisk in the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt until well combined. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth and combined.
- Stir in the flour and mini chocolate chips, making sure not to over-mix the batter.
- Grease a mini muffin tin and transfer the brownie batter into each cup, filling about three-quarters full.
- Bake the brownie bites in a preheated 350°F oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownie bites to cool for a few minutes before gently removing them from the pan using a butter knife.
Notes
- Add mix-ins like chopped nuts, mini M&M’s, or Reese’s Pieces for variety.
- For a festive touch, add peppermint extract or crushed peppermint.
- These brownie bites are best stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator.
