Description

Homemade Orange Julius is a creamy, frothy drink that brings the nostalgic mall-favorite flavor into your kitchen. With just a few simple ingredients, it’s a refreshing and indulgent treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate (½ of a 12-oz can)

1 to cups milk (whole, 2%, or dairy-free)

1/4 cup granulated or powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1012 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine orange juice concentrate, milk, sugar, and vanilla in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Add the ice cubes and blend again until the mixture is frothy and creamy.
  3. Pour immediately into glasses and serve while it’s cold and slushy.

Notes

  • Swap some of the ice for frozen bananas, strawberries, or peaches for a fruity twist.
  • For an extra frothy texture, you can add a raw egg white or egg white powder (optional).
  • Use oat or coconut milk for a dairy-free option, with oat milk providing the creamiest result.
  • For a boozy version, add about 4 oz vodka for a refreshing adult twist.
  • Leftovers can be poured into popsicle molds for a fun frozen treat.
