Description

Homemade Peach Lemonade is a refreshing summer drink made with ripe peaches, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of sugar—perfectly sweet and tart, and ideal for hot days and summer gatherings.


Ingredients

3 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water (for peach syrup)

3/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)

3 cups cold water (for lemonade)

Ice, for serving

Optional garnish: peach slices, lemon slices, mint


Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine chopped peaches, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5–10 minutes until peaches are soft.
  2. Let the mixture cool, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to create the peach syrup (optional: keep pulp for texture).
  3. Juice lemons to yield about 3/4 cup lemon juice and add it to the peach syrup in the pitcher.
  4. Stir in 3 cups cold water. Taste and adjust with more water or sugar if desired.
  5. Chill the lemonade for 30 minutes to 2 hours, or serve immediately over ice with optional garnishes.
