Ingredients

For the Chicken & Pasta:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)

Reserved pasta water (as needed)

For the Sauce:

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons honey

1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.

Season the Chicken:
Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.

Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and melt, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add honey and simmer for 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir until smooth. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine Chicken and Pasta:
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the drained pasta to the pan and toss gently to combine. If the sauce is too thick, use the reserved pasta water to loosen it.

Serve:
Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped parsley or green onions for a fresh touch.

Notes

Customize the Pasta: Feel free to use any pasta you prefer, such as penne, spaghetti, or linguine.

Adjust Spice Level: If you prefer less heat, reduce the Cajun seasoning or omit the pepper.

Make It Dairy-Free: To make this recipe dairy-free, substitute the butter with vegan butter and use a non-dairy cream like coconut cream.
