A refreshing and naturally sweetened Watermelon Lemonade, perfect for hot days. Combines juicy watermelon and tart lemon into a bright, hydrating drink.
Ingredients
4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
½ cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
2–4 cups cold water (to dilute)
Ice
Optional: lemon slices or mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Blend the watermelon until completely smooth.
- Optional: strain through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher for a smoother texture.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Add sugar or honey and mix until dissolved. Warm honey slightly if needed for easier mixing.
- Pour in cold water, adjust to taste for sweetness and dilution.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve over ice with optional lemon slices or mint for garnish.
Notes
- Use sparkling water in place of some still water for a fizzy variation.
- Add strawberries or raspberries in the blender for a berry twist.
- Blend in fresh mint or basil for an herbal note.
- Stir in vodka or white rum to turn it into a cocktail.
