Description

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 small flour or corn tortillas

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

1 ripe mango, diced

1/4 red onion, finely chopped

1/2 jalapeño, seeds removed and finely chopped

1/2 red bell pepper, diced

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

Salt, to taste (for salsa)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, red bell pepper, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss shrimp in olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mix.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  5. Warm tortillas in the same skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, topping with mango salsa, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
