Description

Dole Whip Delight is a refreshing and creamy frozen treat made with natural fruit flavors and a hint of coconut, perfect for a quick and healthy dessert or snack. This easy-to-make recipe uses frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, and unsweetened coconut milk blended together to create a smooth, tangy, and sweet tropical delight that can be enjoyed immediately or chilled for a firmer texture.

Ingredients

Fruit and Liquids

  • 2 cups (300 g) frozen strawberries
  • 120 ml pineapple juice
  • 120 ml unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice

Sweetener

  • 2 tablespoons (16 g) powdered sugar, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Fruit and Liquids: Place the frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, unsweetened coconut milk, and lemon juice into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Process the mixture on high speed until it becomes completely smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary to ensure even blending.
  3. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the blended mixture and add powdered sugar to achieve your desired level of sweetness. Blend again briefly to incorporate the sugar evenly.
  4. Serve or Chill: Serve the Dole Whip Delights immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer it to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 30 minutes if you prefer a firmer, more scoopable consistency.

Notes

  • You can substitute powdered sugar with honey or another sweetener of choice but adjust amounts accordingly.
  • If you do not have pineapple juice, fresh pineapple blended with a little water works as a substitute.
  • The coconut milk adds creaminess but you can try almond milk or another plant-based milk for a different flavor.
  • For extra creaminess and frozen texture, you can add a small amount of frozen banana.
  • Be sure to use a high-speed blender to achieve the best smooth and creamy consistency.
