Description

A refreshing and healthy Matcha Chia Parfait that combines antioxidant-rich matcha green tea with creamy Greek yogurt and nutrient-packed chia seeds. Sweetened naturally with Monk Fruit Sweetener, this no-bake parfait is perfect for a quick breakfast or a wholesome snack.

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 ½ teaspoons matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • ¾ cup milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons Splenda® Monk Fruit Sweetener Pouch
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

Optional Toppings

  • Greek yogurt or zero-sugar whipped topping
  • Fresh strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. Dissolving Matcha: In a bowl, whisk together the matcha green tea powder and hot water until all clumps are fully dissolved, resulting in a smooth matcha mixture.
  2. Mixing Ingredients: Stir in the milk of your choice, Splenda Monk Fruit Sweetener, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds into the matcha mixture. Mix thoroughly to ensure everything is well combined.
  3. Refrigeration: Refrigerate the mixture for at least two hours to allow the chia seeds to soak up the liquid and form a pudding-like consistency.
  4. Serving: Divide the chia mixture evenly between two small jars or cups. Add optional toppings such as additional Greek yogurt, whipped topping, or diced fresh strawberries if desired.
  5. Storage: Cover the jars and refrigerate. Consume the parfaits within three days for optimal freshness and taste.

Notes

  • Make sure to whisk the matcha powder well to avoid clumps for a smooth texture.
  • Feel free to use any milk you prefer including dairy, almond, soy, or oat milk.
  • Letting the chia seeds soak is crucial to achieve the perfect pudding consistency.
  • Parfaits can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for quick meals or snacks.
  • Optional toppings can be varied according to your taste and dietary preferences.
